Type III Hard Coating for superior wear resistance, electrical insulation, and hardness comparable to tool steel.
At Shree Industries, we utilize a specialized sulphuric acid electrolyte process at sub-zero temperatures (-4°C to 0°C) to create a dense, hard anodic coating on aluminium alloys. Unlike standard decorative anodising, our Type III process integrates the oxide layer deep into the substrate (50% penetration, 50% buildup).
This results in a surface hardness of 60-70 Rockwell C, making your aluminium components as hard as stainless steel while maintaining their lightweight properties.
